About Padel

Padel combines the best elements of tennis and squash. It is played by pairs against each other on a 10x20 meter "mini tennis court" with a padel racket and ball specially developed for the sport. The padel racket is much lighter than a tennis racket, and the game is easier to control with it. The playing area is surrounded by a glass wall and partly a fence, and the two halves of the field are separated by a net, just like in tennis. The rules of the game are the same as tennis, with the addition that the side and back walls can also be involved in the game, and the ball bouncing off the wall also plays a role in the game.

It is easier than tennis, less demanding than squash, a great cardio exercise and a "party game" for four people.

Padel is growing rapidly in popularity worldwide! Currently, more than 25 million people play padel in more than 90 countries around the world, while the number of padel courts is growing by more than 20% annually. In addition to the Spanish market, which can be considered the “cradle” of the sport, the sport has also started to grow enormously in France, Belgium, Sweden, Finland and Portugal – there are more than 5,000 courts in Italy.
